SimplyLouie ("we," "us," "our") operates simplylouie.com and the Louie Telegram bot. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.

When you use SimplyLouie, we collect:

• Chat messages you send to Louie (to provide AI responses)
• Basic usage data: pages visited, features used, approximate location (country/city from IP)
• Payment information is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number

How We Use Your Data

• To provide AI chat responses through our integration with Anthropic's Claude API
• To manage your subscription and process payments via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (password resets, referral notifications) via Resend
• To improve the service through anonymous, aggregated analytics

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data to anyone, ever
• We do not show you ads
• We do not share your chat conversations with third parties except Anthropic (to generate responses)
• We do not use your data to train AI models
• We do not track you across other websites

Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate SimplyLouie:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — processes your chat messages to generate responses. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Stripe — processes payments. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
• Resend — sends transactional emails. Subject to Resend's privacy policy.
• DigitalOcean — hosts our servers in the United States.

Data Retention

Chat conversations are stored for the duration of your account. If you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated analytics may be retained indefinitely.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your account, or update your information at any time by contacting us through our Telegram bot @LouieLifeBot.

Cookies

We use a single authentication token stored in your browser's localStorage to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookie services.

Children

SimplyLouie is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify users by email. Continued use of SimplyLouie after changes constitutes acceptance.
